This is a series of drawings based on Mikhail Bulgakov's famous novel The Master and Margarita. Initially, together with a number of other illustrations, they were a part of the copybook which is presently known as Graphic Fantasies, Part III.
The illustrations are essentially black-and-white, but some of them contain a limited number of additional colors, such as pinkish red, blue and green.
